Exporting hides, skins and leather from Spain

Chapter 41 spans raw animal hides through finished leather, each with distinct tariff rates and processing requirements. Raw hides (headings 4101–4103) face lower or zero tariffs in most markets, while tanned and finished leather (headings 4104–4115) may attract duties depending on destination and trade agreements.

Lead times from raw material to finished leather can exceed four months. Plan inventory and order timing accordingly if you work with leather processors or tanners, whether in Spain or abroad.
