Market comparison by tariff heading
Up to three countries side by side on the same yardstick: how much of your heading they import, what share they hold and at what average price they buy.
The ranking answers who buys most. This tool answers the next question, the hard one: among the three destinations you can genuinely serve, which one first? Beyond volume it shows the average declared price — value divided by kilos — which is what separates a market that buys expensive from one that buys cheap within the same heading. A country with half the volume but twice the price can leave you more margin than the one at the top, and that comparison is almost never made.

The average price is the declared value divided by the declared kilos: it tells you whether that market buys expensive or cheap within the same heading. A country that buys half the volume at twice the price can leave you more margin than the one at the top of the list, which is why it is here. It is an average of everything that came in, qualities and origins mixed together, not the price you will be paid.
What this figure does not tell you
A country importing a lot means there is demand, not that there is room for you. These figures do not tell your product apart from a cheaper competitor’s, and they do not say whether you would be let in. They are the first filter, not the decision.
The average price is an average of everything that entered that country under that heading, qualities and origins mixed: it is a signal of the range the market moves in, not the price you will be paid. Kilos are not always declared, and when they are missing the field stays empty rather than inventing a figure. For the entry barrier — duty, agreement and proof of origin — there is the tariffs and trade agreements finder, which is a different tool.
