Two regional internationalisation grant calls remain open in Spain. Asturex's call for Asturian companies accepts applications until 20 November 2026. The call from the Murcia Regional Development Institute (INFO) grants up to 30,000 euros per company, 60% of eligible spending, until 31 December 2026. Only companies with activity in each region can apply.

Asturex: programmes and services until 20 November

Asturex, the foreign-promotion agency of the Principality of Asturias, has published its 2026 call for grants to support the international promotion and market diversification of Asturian companies. Its Board of Directors approved the grants on 25 November 2025.

The application period began on 8 January 2026 and remains open until 20 November 2026. An interested company starts the process with a pre-registration on the Asturex website and then submits the formal application.

The call gives access to the EXPORTA programmes, which provide support according to each company's level of international experience, and to tailor-made services. These include the overseas network in more than 80 countries, international legal advice at origin and destination, logistics and customs advice, international digital marketing, support for selling on international marketplaces and a strategic monitoring service for markets and sectors.

INFO Murcia: a 60% grant of up to 30,000 euros

The Murcia Regional Development Institute keeps open the grant for the internationalisation of companies in the Region of Murcia until 31 December 2026. It is a non-repayable grant at a fixed rate of 60% of eligible spending, with a maximum of 30,000 euros per beneficiary.

It is a de minimis aid, governed by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831. SMEs, co-ownerships, self-employed people and legal entities whose project activity is located in the Region of Murcia, in any sector, can apply. Primary production in fishing and aquaculture, and of the agricultural products listed in Annex I of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, is excluded.

INFO also has the Internationalisation Voucher, open until 30 December 2026, with a maximum of 10,000 euros per beneficiary. It subsidises 70% of the cost of contracted services, with caps per service: 10,000 euros for professional services in foreign markets, 6,000 for internationalisation diagnosis and strategy and 8,000 for access to international public procurement and global corporate purchasing.

Requirements that filter out the most applications

For the Murcia grant, only companies whose export volume, understood as non-EU deliveries in 2023, does not exceed 50% of their total turnover can apply. It is therefore designed for companies that are starting or consolidating their foreign activity.

The project cannot be started, nor executed and paid for by more than 40%, before the application is submitted. It must also include actions in at least two categories of eligible spending.

These grants are for companies with activity in each region. If your company is in another autonomous community, the equivalent call is published by its own foreign-promotion agency, and it is worth checking it before paying for a service, because in many grants the project cannot have started.

How to prepare an application

  1. 01

    Check whether your company qualifies

Review the location of the activity, size, sector and, in Murcia, that 2023 exports do not exceed 50% of turnover.

  2. 02

    Do not start the project

Avoid contracting and paying for services before applying, because the project cannot be started or executed by more than 40%.

  3. 03

    Define the plan and budget

Choose the market and actions, and spread the spending over at least two categories for the Murcia grant.

  4. 04

    Apply before the deadline

Submit the application to Asturex before 20 November 2026 or to INFO before 31 December 2026.

With Buscar clientes you find importers and distributors with the decision-maker, and the CRM sends emails from your own mailbox. Xport, the Exporta assistant, helps you turn the plan into tasks.

Until when can the Asturex grant be requested?

Until 20 November 2026. The period opened on 8 January 2026 and the process starts with a pre-registration on the Asturex website.

How much does Murcia's INFO give per company?

The internationalisation grant subsidises 60% of eligible spending with a maximum of 30,000 euros per beneficiary, until 31 December 2026. The Internationalisation Voucher goes up to 10,000 euros.

Can a company from another autonomous community apply?

No. Each grant requires the project activity to be located in its region. Companies in other communities should check the call of their own foreign-promotion agency.

Can I start the project before applying for the grant?

For the Murcia grant, no: the project cannot be started, nor executed and paid for by more than 40%, before the application is submitted. Check the rules of each call before contracting anything.
