How to take part

The official website lists several routes. As an exhibitor, by registering on its portal. Through the country exhibition, with an invitation brochure for the bodies that run national pavilions. As a visitor, with a separate registration.

There is also a trade mission, an online matchmaking platform and an online exhibition. If your company exports from Spain, ask your promotion body whether it organises a group presence; if not, you can register yourself.

Why the fair is in the conversation this week

The joint statement of the second EU-China Trade and Investment Consultations, of 9 October 2026, mentions the CIIE: the EU welcomes China's effort to import more European medical devices, including through a matchmaking event during the ninth edition.

The statement does not change any tariff or market-access requirement. The fair is a chance to make contacts, not a lowering of barriers.
